BHUBANESWAR: On Friday, Ramakanta Mallik, Assitant. Engineer (Estimator), O/o Executive Engineer, PH Division, Rayagada has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while taking bribe Rs. 7,000/- from a Complaint (Contractor) in order to process the agreement for execution of 2 nos of PH works.
In this connection, Koraput Vigilance PS case No. 30/2023 U/s 7 P.C Amendment Act, 2018 has been registered. Investigation is in progress.
Meanwhile, Sukanta Behera, Pvt Person has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while taking bribe Rs.4,000/- from a Complaint on behalf of Sri Krushna Chandra Nayak, Secretary, Haripur Cooperative Society, Nayagarh (absconding), to facilitate release of agricultural loan.
In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance PS Case no 26/2023 U/s-7PC Amendment Act, 2018 has been registered. Investigation is in progress.
