BHUBANESWAR: The Director of Vigilance on Sunday said, Tara charan Panda, Junior Accountant, Office of CSO, Nuapada was intercepted in the afternoon on NH 353 at Nuapada carrying suspected ill gotten cash of Rs 2,16,000/- which he couldn’t account for satisfactorily.The said cash has been recovered & seized.
Following interception, simultaneous searches have been launched on properties of Sri Panda at 3 places in Nuapada, Koraput and Ganjam district. Investigation in progress against Sri Panda, it added.
