Total builtup area of five floors: 20,350 sq ft. Building cost: 20,350 X 1600 = Rs 3,25,60,000/-Total cost including land = Rs 3,89,60,000/.Total cash recovery and seizure from his house: Rs 38,12,900.0.
On the allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to theknown sources of income, simultaneous house searches have been launched onthe properties of Sri Pratap Kumar Samal, Deputy Manager, Odisha Police Housing & Welfare Corporation (OPHWC), Bhubaneswar at 10 places today, viz 1) triple storeyed building over Plot No. N/6-416, IRC Village, 2) six storeyed building located opposite of Maa Bhagabati Temple, Biju Pattanaik College Chhaka, Jayadev Vihar, 3) single storeyed building over plot No.3/605, Sarakantra, Khandagiri given on rent, 4) flat No-202, second floor, Narendra Villa, Jayadev Vihar, 5) three storeyed apartment namely Ananya Towers at Balisahi, Basudevpur, Bhadrak, 6) temporary residence of his associate at Ananya Towers, 7) native house of Sri Samal at Haripur, Simulia, Balasore, 8) house of relativeat Haripur, Simulia, Balasore, and 9) office of Sri Samal located at OPHWC, Bhubaneswar today i.e., on 09.11.2021.10 teams of Odisha Vigilance led by one Addl SP, 5 DSsP, 7 Inspectors and other staff conducting searches on the strength of search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
Sri Pratap Kumar Samal was born on 20-08-1968. Completed Diploma in Civil Engineering at Barapada School of Engineering, Bhadrak- 1987. Joined in Odisha Police Housing and Welfare Corporation on 14-08-1988 as Junior Engineer at Bhubaneswar Head Office. Continued as Estimator till 1994-95. Worked at Kendrapara and Debagarh. On promotion to the rank of Deputy Manager in the year 2013 he worked at Rourkela, Bolangir, Keonjhar, Cuttack.Joined at Bhubaneswar in the year 2019 and continuing as such.
