BHUBANESWAR: Vigilance Raids on OSRTC Financial CAO Bijaya Mangaraj seized 2 Double Storeyed Buildings , 2 Plots in Bhubaneswar, Bank Deposits over Rs 1.40 Crore , Gold 500 Grams, 2 Four Wheelers.
During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Sri Mangaraj and his family members;
1) One double storeyed building over plot No.918, New colony, Palasuni, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar.
2) Another double storeyed building over plot No.892/6714 and 892/5393/6242/ 6710, New colony, Palasuni, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar.
3) Sri Mangaraj is also suspected of owning a 2 storeyed building in Ernakullam, Kerala, which is being verified.
4)2 high value plots in prime areas of Bhubaneswar.
- i) A piece of land vide plot No.3649/12608, Khata No.1330/6447 with area 0.700 dcml at mouza Pandara, Prachi Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
- ii) A piece of land vide plot No.189, Khata No.1330/10135 with area 0.550 dcml at mouza-Pandara, Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar
The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above buildings/plots are being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing.
5) Gold approx 500 gms. Weighment in progress.
6) Bank deposits and investment in PPF Rs.1,40,12,193/-.
7) Other deposits are being ascertained.
8) 2 four wheelers (Hyundai Asta & Kia Setos).
On Friday morning, on the allegation of possession of Disproportionate Assets (DA) by Sri Bijaya Kumar Mangaraj, Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer(FA & CAO), OSRTC, Bhubaneswar, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance comprising 8 DSPs, 8 Inspectors, 9 ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar at the following 7 places in Bhubaneswar and Baripada.👇
1) Flat – 301 , Tower – 6, Z1 Estate , Nandankannan Road , Nandan Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
2) One double storeyed building over plot no – 918, New colony , Palasuni, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar.
3) One Double storeyed building over plot no – 892, New colony , Palasuni, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar.
4) Bhuinya Niwas, Dhipasahi, Station Road, Baripada, Dist- Mayurbhanj.
5) Office of Financial Advisor cum Chief Accounts Officer of OSRTC, Bhubaneswar.
6) Office of Financial advisor cum special secretary, Commerce & Transport ,5th floor , Kharavel Bhawan , Bhubaneswar.
7) Office of Director, Business Development and Finance, ORIDL, 6th Floor, IDCO Tower, Janpath, Bhubaneswar.
