BHUBANESWAR: On Saturday Morning, on the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by Sri Jayant Kumar Das,, Assistant Civil Supplies Officer, Nayagarh, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance at 5 locations. Cash Rs 2,74,075/- , 1 four wheeler and 3 two wheelers unearthed so far.
Search going in following locations :
(1)Four storeyed building located at Lenkudipada , Dist- Nayagarh
(2) Double Storeyed building located at Gandhisahi lane, Odagaon Dist-Nayagarh
(3) Double storeyed building located at Gandhisahi lane, Odagaon Dist- Nayagarh (adjacent to above building)
(4) single storeyed building located at native village Biruda, Dist- Nayagarh
(5) Office of Sri Jayant Das located at Nayagarh town Dist- Nayagarh
Searches led by 4 DSPs, 8 Inspectors, one SI, 4 ASIs and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge Vigilance, Bhubaneswar. Search is in progress.
