CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR: Member Lokayukta and former DGP Rajendra Prasad Sharma has all his praise for Director Vigilance, Yashwant Jethwa and his able team of officers, those have been giving sleepless nights to corrupted elements in State administration since past several months.
Backed by 5T initiative and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s zero tolerance over corruption, Vigilance Directorate now turned fear shed for corrupted elements ranging from Police Constable to Tahasildar to Additional District Magistrate to Police Station IIC with Director Jethwa putting all his efforts to track their corruption empire and putting them behind bar.
With the 1994 Batch IPS officer, Jethwa, taking the lead and guiding the team in right direction, every day, either a small or big was being caught by anti-corruption wing of the State Police. In last few days, an ADM, Forest Range Officer, Deputy Manager and a Police Station IIC were being caught and crores of rupees seized with arrest of accused officials.
