BHUBANESWAR: Vikram Deb Autonomous College in Jeypore, Koraput, which was established in 1947 by Vikram Deo Verma, erstwhile king of Jeypore, and got autonomous institution status in 2004, will be upgraded into an affiliated University.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday approved the upgradation of VD Auto College to an affiliated university.
Patnaik is scheduled to attend the platinum jubilee celebrations of the educational institution, tomorrow.
