BHUBANESWAR: The 1996 batch IAS officer, Usha Padhee , on return from Central deputation, on Friday got 2 important Department in Odisha. Padhee has been appointed as Principal Secretary Commerce- Transport and Skill Development and Technical Education department.
Earlier Industry Secretary Hemant Sharma was holding the additional charge of Skill Development and Technical Education and Higher Education Secretary Bishnupada Sethi holding the Commerce and Transport Department.
With reshuffle, Padhee, will hold both Skill Development and Technical Education and Commerce- Transport in place of Sharma and Sethi. Sethi will continue as Higher Education Secretary while Sharma in Industry with additional charge as Chairman, IPICOL and IDCO.
