BHUBANESWAR: Ministry of Railways said Odisha Train accident rescue operation completed at derailment site and restoration work has commenced.
Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, death toll reported at 238 while West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who visited the site, claimed that she had been told about death of more than 500 passengers.
When Minister Vaishnaw said , death toll reported by State Government is 238 but WB CM Banerjee disputed the figure and claimed death toll may be around 500. CM Banerjee said, there was no anti-collusion system in the train.
