NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: After holding talks with Pravasi Odias staying Gulf Countries like, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman and South-East Asian Countries, Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was on Sunday held talks with Pravasi Odias staying in the USA.
“Interacted with overseas Odia friends from the USA through video conferencing. We discussed the #Covid19 situation in our countries and measures taken by our respective governments to slow down transmission, flatten the curve and prevent further spread of the coronavirus,” Union Minister Pradhan twitted.
“We also had insightful exchanges on leveraging technology, automation and new business models to minimise the impact of #Covid19 on public health and to limit disruptions to economies and supply chains.I expressed solidarity with the people of America. Ties between both our countries are stronger than ever. Both our nations are supporting each other in these testing times and are committed to work together for a healthier planet.Urged my friends to stay safe and take care of each other, especially the Indian diaspora,” he said.
“With the blessings of Mahaprabhu Jagannath, we shall cure and we shall endure,” Pradhan added. On Saturday, Pradhan has interacted with Pravasi Odia friends residing in the southeast asian countries . Earlier, he had talked to NRO in gulf countries.
