NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: It may be noted here that as soon as Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was appointed the election in-charge for Haryana in last week of June, few days later during Rath Yatra in first week of July, the Sambalpur Lok Sabha MP, rushed to Devabhoomi Jindal Nagar at Angul in Odisha, where he offered prayers at Shree Lord Jagannath Temple.
During Mr Pradhan’s Devabhoomi visit, his Party and Lok Sabha Colleague from Kurukshetra and Jindal Steel and Power Chairman, MP Mr Naveen Jindal was present. Both seems then had laid the foundation stone for a grand victory, which reflected on October results when results were announced for Haryana Assembly polls.
Then Dharmendra Pradhan set up his camp in Kurukshetra, Rohtak and Panchkula. After the unprecedented victory of the BJP, there have been 2 names that has gone under the radar — Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who was appointed election in charge of the State and his trusted Party College Lok Sabha MP Mr Naveen Jindal.
Efforts of Mr Dharmendra Pradhan and Mr Naveen Jindal paid off handsomely. The BJP has now won its third straight term in Haryana, emerging victorious in 48 of the state’s 90 assembly seats while Congress has won 37 seats.
Meanwhile, after the resounding victory, Election In charge Mr Pradhan and Co In charge , Mr Biplab Deb paid a visit to Shri OP Jindal Group , Chairperson Emirates and newly elected Hissar MLA , Srimati Savitri Jindal. Both reportedly sought support of Srimati Savitri Jindal.
