Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan conveys wishes on the occasion of Hindu New Year

BHUBANESWAR:The National New Year, which begins with a new look of nature, reminds us of the glorious history. When the society respects its culture, then the nation attains ultimate prosperity. Therefore, Union Education Minister and Sambalpur MP Shri Dharmendra Pradhan has appealed to the youth to always respect their civilization, culture and language.

In a grand cultural program organized by the ‘National New Year Celebration Committee, Sambalpur’ at the local Gangadhar Mandap, Shri Pradhan said through a video message, today is not just a day of changing the date, it is a day of rebirth of our civilization, culture and values. When nature takes a new form at the beginning of the spring season, then our new year begins. This holy day reminds us – how ancient and glorious our history is. He said that the cultural program organized by the ‘National New Year Celebration Committee, Sambalpur’ is the best way to connect our youth with their roots.

Towards the creation of a developed Sambalpur, a developed Odisha and a developed India, Shri Pradhan has appealed to the general public to take many resolutions from the land of Sambalpur. They are, “Respect our culture, civilization and language”, “Keep the environment clean and beautiful with extensive tree plantation”, “Maintain brotherhood regardless of caste and religion”, “Take collective responsibility to provide nutritious food to every child” and “Work with dedication in our own fields for the progress of the country”. Wishing everyone happiness and prosperity to the Maa Samlai, Shri Pradhan said that this resolution started from Sambalpur will create a new consciousness in the entire Odisha and India.
