BHUBANESWAR: Veteran Journalist Ratikant Mohanty , popularly known as Rati Bhai among media persons, passed away here on Saturday.
Many Senior Journalists, Media Association and other dignitaries condoled the death. Mohanty was survived by wife and daughter. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP State Vice President Golak Mohapatra have condoled the death of Mohanty.
‘I am saddened and shocked to hear the death news of senior journalist Ratikant Mohanty. I have a lot of memories and experiences with Rati brother. I am personally associated with him since the student protest. He was a simple and simple man of life and was friendly with people of all walks of social and political spheres.It will not be wrong to call him a unique personality in the world of journalism. Praying for his immortal soul to rest in peace and expressing condolences to the bereaved family.
