SAMBALPUR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an inspiration for all of us. Today is not just his birthday but the birthday of a great leader who dreamed of a ‘developed Odisha’ – ‘developed India’ and made it a reality, said Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan while attending the ‘Garib Kalyan O Vikas Samabesha’ organized under the ‘Seva Palkh’ in Sambalpur on the occasion of Prime Minister Modi’s birthday on Wednesday.
Wishing Prime Minister Modi a happy birthday from Sambalpur, the land of Maa Samleeshwari, he said that today is the birthday of the world’s unique public leader, Prime Minister Modi ji. In this regard, our party is celebrating ‘Seva Palakh’ across the country for 15 days from today to October 2 ‘Gandhi Jayanti’. For the sake of service, cleanliness, tree plantation, health camps, blood donation camps, fairs, exhibitions, ‘Developed India Painting Competition’ and ‘Modi Vikas Marathon’ are being organized to promote ‘Seva Palakh’. In this context, he said that it is a privilege to provide assistance to about 1141 beneficiaries of various government schemes in today’s gathering.
Shri Pradhan further said that Sambalpur is not just a city, it is a hub of immense potential. Its rich cultural heritage, handicrafts and educational institutions have helped make it a developed region. It has many opportunities to take its indigenous products to the global stage, empower women and improve education and health. Let us work together to make this potential a reality on the Prime Minister’s birthday, Shri Pradhan called for.
