BHUBANESWAR: Coal India Ltd supported COVID-19 Hospital was on Monday inaugurated by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here in Bhubaneswar at the SUM Hospital here.
Naveen along with Union Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi and Union PNG-Steel Miinister, who were joined through video conference, dedicated the Hospital at SUM Medical College and Hospitals run by Dr Manoj Nayak.
“Along with Chief Minister Odisha Naveen Patnaik and Union Mininister Pralhad Joshi joined the inauguration and dedication ceremony of a stand-alone exclusive #Covid-19 hospital in Odisha to fight the evolving situation due to the novel coronavirus outbreak,” Union PNG-Steel Minister Pradhan twitted.
The facilities with total 500-bed strength in Bhubaneswar will provide dedicated and free treatment along with free food and rent-free stay for all the #Covid-19 cases in the state. Appreciate the dedicated efforts by the Odisha administration in the fight against corona.
“Compliment Naveen Patnaik , Coal India Limited and SUM hospital for operationalising the dedicated facilities for management and treatment of #Covid-19 in a record time. Odisha is leading from the front in fighting and containing the pandemic,” Pradhan added.
Earlier, Odisha Mining Corporation suppoted , COVID-19 Hospital inaugurated at KIMS under KIIT deemed University founded and run by BJD’s Kandhamal Lok Sabha MP Dr Achyuta Samanta.
