BHUBANESWAR: Under scanner IGP CM‘s Security Ashish Singh on Thursday transferred, posted as OSD Home Department.
The 2004 batch IPS officer was under scanner for furnishing fake medical report to avail leave to help BJD during last elections. Singh was IGP CM’s Security now he will be OSD Home Department.
Singh had to undergo medical test before a special medical board headed by AIIMS-Bhubaneswar Director following a directive from Election Commission of India regarding his dubious medical leave during the last general elections. Medical Board had then found IPS Officer Singh fit and fine.
Another IPS Officer DS Kutey, who was a Special Secretary in CMO, had come under scanner of Election Commission of India for his dubious role during the last Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha , even Kutey was shifted to New Delhi and remained there till end of the last phase of voting. Kutey likely to be shifted soon.
