Under -19 T20 Women’s Cricket Tourney from September 28

BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK: Odisha Cricket Association is hosting the Under-19 T20 Women’s Cricket tournament from September 28. All the matches will be played in Bhubaneswar at the Vikash School Ground, KIIT University Ground, and East Coast Railway Ground, informed OCA Secretary Sanjay Behera at a press conference held in Cuttack. OCA President Pankaj Lochan Mohanty was present on this occasion.

After getting the green signal from the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) will be conducting the matches in three rounds. OCA Secretary Behera flanked by OCA President Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, said that teams of Nagaland, Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya and Manipur have already arrived in Odisha.  As per the guidelines of the BCCI all the matches will be played under Bio Bubble conditions.

Keeping in view of the pandemic and safety of the players, the team will report on September 20 and will undergo quarantine as per the rule from September 21 to 25, said the State Cricket Association.

After completing quarantine, the Net practice will begin from September 26 and 27, it added.“While players have been accommodated at Vivanta, Lemon Tree and HII in the state capital, the match officials including Referees, Umpires, Video Analysts, Scorers etc settled at hotels in the city.
