JEYPORE: Looking Back a Century Apart for students and research scholars.two-day national seminar on Wittgenstein’s LegacyThe seminar organised in collaboration with Indian Council of Philosophical Research, New Delhi , aims to enhance the knowledge of students in Wittgenstein’s philosophy.
Inaugurating the seminar Prof. Devi Prasad Mishra, OSD of Vikram Dev University emphasized not only on the benefits of seminar but also it is a glory for the institution to conduct national seminar on different subjects for the teachers and students to learn different aspects of their concerned subject.
Dr Gopal Halder , Regional Director, Jeypore, Sri Ranjan Kumar Pradhan Reistrar of Vikram Dev University and Dr Kichak Chandra Jena , CPGC delivered their address as a guest of Honour.
Dr Lakshman Patra, HOD and Organizing Secretary gave guest introduction and theme of the seminar.Sri Francis Barla gave vote of thanks to the guests and student participants .
Prof. Ganesh Prasad Das, (Retd.) Utkal University delivered a key note address on WITTGENSTEIN: A SAINT AND A SURGEON OF MENTAL CRAMPS. In the two days seminar eighteen resources persons have been delivered their thought provoking ideas of wittgensteins philosophy. Prof. George Victor, Formerly, V.C., Adikavi Nannaya University, Dr. Ashok Kumar Tarai, HoD, Philosophy, Ravenshaw University, Dr. Jatin Kumar Bisoyi, HoD, Philosophy, Khallikot Universit, Dr. Baradalaxmi Panda, HoD, Philosophy, Presidency University, Dr. Manoranjan Mallick, Asst. Professor, Utkal Uniniversity, Dr. Subhankari Pati, Asst. Professor, Gangadhar Meher University, Prof. Gopal Sahoo, Allahabad University, Prof. V Venkata Rao, HoD, Philosophy, Andhra University, Dr. Rajiba Lochan Behera, Benaras Hindu University, Sri Biajaya Upadhya, Sri Bedabyas Bhanja, Sri Santosh Nayak and Miss Smurti Rekha Nayak were delivered their philosophical thoughts about Wittgenstein as resource persons.

All resource persons have received certificate from the OSD for their presentation.The seminar was end with vote of thanks by Sri Francis Barla , Asst proff of philosophy.
