Turubudi GP PEO under Vigilance Net

BHUBANESWAR: On Thursday, Rajendra Kumar Behera, PEO,Turubudi GP, Patrapur Block, Ganjam has been apprehended by Odisha Vig. while demanding & accepting undue advantage Rs.6,000/- from a Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana- Gramina(PMAYG) beneficiary towards release of last instalment of Rs.30,000/-.
Following trap, searches have been launched at his office and residential premises.
In this connection, Berhampur Vigilance PS case No.10/22,U/s 7 PC Act,1988 as amended by PC (Amend)Act 2018 has been registered. Investigation in progress.
