BHUBANESWAR: Ram Gopal Verma, the Bollywood director , will face tough time with his tweets on Odisha getting huge criticism day by day since he posted the matter in twitter. One Facebook user Samarendranath Mahapatra in Odisha wrote in his Facebook timeline that Director Ram Gopal Varma’s new sensation is now Apsara Rani. She is from Odisha, but born and brought up in the hills of Dehradun and presently staying in Hyderabad .. She’s an excellent dancer and an even better actor.
Mohapatra wrote , which was also shared by senior Journalist Bhakta Tripathy, Ram Gopal says , “Before meeting Apsara, I didn’t even hear about Odisha since the 1999 hurricane..but after meeting her now,I realised that Odisha creates all kinds of hurricanes..it’s been a great revelation that Odisha has such beauties ..MORE POWER TO ODISHA”. Again he says, “Never even thought of Odisha as a talent pool for film industry..But now after meeting Apsara coming from there, both the rest of the country and Odisha itself should seriously look at Odisha.” Naturally a great compliments to Odisha. But a point to ask: Is Ram Gopal telling the truth. Has he not known about the cultural glory of Odisha before?

“Not listen of odisha !!! recent news due to Ratha Yatra ODISHA was in headline… who is RAM GOPAL VERMA ? a director / producer / an entertainer …. only entertainment don’t means ODISHA … odisha is lot more & bigger than this …. odisha is now No.1 in medical facility for COVID, best is education ask those who stay out of odisha and are proud ODIA .. they will say what is ODISA,” replied Ajit Maharana.
“We also don’t know who is Ram Gopal Verma. Is he a notable person or anything he did in past to serve the nation.so it’s better for all of us to forget him.in the name of right to speak these bastards are doing horrible things,” another user Kishore Kumar Sahoo replied. “Speaks volume about his culture and mind set. A glimpse of the true colours of Bollywood,” Manoj Kumar Das wrote.
