SUNDARGARH: Dalmia Cement Bharat Limited or OCL’s plant in Rajgangpur in Sundargarh faced off with tribals over land acquisition process.
Hundreds of tribals of Kesramal in Rajgangpur block of Sundargarh district staged a protest opposing land acquisition process.
The tribals travelled 65-km to the Collector’s office over the acquisition of 77 acres of land belonging to 5 panchayats for the expansion of Dalmia Cement Bharat Limited or OCL’s plant in Rajgangpur.
Still, the administration continues to move ahead unlawfully with the land acquisition process. The public hearing on R&R policy was both illegal and unconstitutional, they said.
