BHUBANESWAR:  At the direction of Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik, Secretary to Chief Minister (5T) Shri V.K. Pandian today visited Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar and reviewed the progress of work of Trauma Care and Surgery Complex building as well as Post Graduate Institute site.

Shri Pandian advised the Executing Agency to widen the road in front of the Academic Block of PGI, keeping in view the future traffic movement. He expressed satisfaction over the progress of work of Trauma Care and Surgery Complex building and directed to complete it by December, 2023.

Later Shri Pandian met Senior Officials at the Conference Hall of Capital Hospital and discussed about the Master Plan for development of Capital Hospital with 2000 beds and also establishment of Odisha University of Health Science and also residential Quarters for the staff. Advised the OB&CC to expedite the preparation of Master Plan.

Principal Secretary, Works Shri VVK Yadav, Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Smt. Salin Pandit, MD, OB&CC and other Senior Officials were also present during the review.
