Thriveni Earth Movers Pvt Ltd- Sarala Realcon Pvt Ltd Nexus Puts 541 HAL Employees in Trouble

    BHUBANESWAR: Call it Land mafia, Gayadhar Jena, MD of M/s Sarala Realcon Pvt. Ltd and mines contractor , B Prabhakaran, Managing Director, M/s Thriveni Earth Movers Pvt Ltd, one of the well-known face of Odisha Mining scam, seems in a secrete understanding to illegally encroached 48 Acres of land in Mouza: Giringaput and Bhagabatipur, PS: Chandaka, in Bhubaneswar, which was procured in the year 2010 by HAL Housing Committee (HALHC) with membership of 541 employees (mostly lower level workmen and few executives) of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Sunabeda.

    Sources said, HAL Housing Committee (HALHC) with membership of 541 employees (mostly lower level workmen and few executives) of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Sunabeda was formed for the purpose of procurement of land for themselves and house construction subsequently. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is a Defence Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Defence and is involved in manufacture of fighter aircrafts and other critical hardwares for safety and security of the nation.

    Accordingly, HALHC procured approximately 48 Acres of land in Mouza: Giringaput and

    Bhagabatipur, PS: Chandaka, Bhubaneswar in the year 2010, with members sourcing their funds mostly through Provident Fund loans. To safeguard the said property, the members constructed project periphery and individual plot demarcated boundary walls by spending about Rs. 3 Crores in the year 2011. Thereafter the members were in peaceful possession of the property though certain legal issues are pending adjudication in different courts of law, including Supreme Court, sources said.

    During late November, 2021, Smt. Kiruthika Prabhakaran, Wife of Sri B. Prabhakaran, Managing Director, M/s Thriveni Earth Movers Pvt Ltd. in connivance with one Sri Gayadhar Jena, MD of M/s Sarala Realcon Pvt. Ltd and one Sri Prabodh Kumar Mishra have mischievously and unauthorizedly entered into the said HALHC site for the purpose illegal encroachment and have mischievously and unauthorizedly demolished the periphery boundary walls and internal demarcated boundary walls. The mankada stones used for construction of said boundary walls were unauthorizedly and illegally stolen by them and sold off in the market, they said.

    Further, to prevent entry of members of HALHC into their own land, Smt Kiruthika Prabhakaran has constructed a gate and has placed local goondas who threatened of dire consequences anyone trying to visit their own plots. Thereafter she has started mischievous and illegal construction and plantation works without permission of the land owners i.e members of HALHC.

    About 30 retired and serving members of HALHC visited Chandaka Police Station three times on Date: 17.12.2021, 28.02.2022 and 10.03.2022 with a plea to register FIR against Smt Kiruthika Prabhakaran and associates for illegal demolition and robbery and investigate the matter, sources added.

    Chandaka Police refused to register FIR. Frustrated with the arrogant attitude of Chandaka Police and high motivation levels of the criminals, HALHC was compelled to file caveat in Hon’ble Court of J.M.F.C.(O), Bhubaneswar on Date 23.04.2022 praying for direction to Chandaka Police for registering their FIR. On the same date, accepting the cognizable nature of the offence, the Hon’ble Court ordered Chandaka Police to register FIR within 24 hours and also make spot visit and seizure of material objects therein.

    Chandaka Police declined to obey the orders of Hon’ble Court. Only after issue of show cause notice by the Hon’ble Court on Date: 11.05.2022 as to why contempt of court proceedings should not be initiated, Chandaka Police was compelled to register FIR against Smt Kiruthika Prabhakaran, Sri Gayadhar Jena and Sri Prabodh Kumar Mishra on Date: 12.05.2022, almost about 06 months after occurrence of the criminal act.

    “Cases have been registered under sections of 447, 426, 427, 379, 403, 424, 506, 421, 294, 467 and 468 of the IPC-1860,’ a copy of the FIR which was filed at Chandaka PS, is available with www.indianewsdiary.com, said.

    Gayadhar Jena , who originally hails from Kendrapara’s Rajkanika-Aul area, had been arrested several times over land dispute issues. Jena duped customers of around Rs 100 crore. His wife, Pankajini Jena, is the Director of Sarala Realcon Pvt Ltd. She had also been arrested by police in March last year for duping a buyer of Rs 30 lakh.

    FIR lodged by Sri Kaleswar Prasad Hota, Chairman, HAL Housing Committee the umbrella body created by employees of HAL Sunabeda for purchase and maintenance of the said landed property.

    Sources said, local Police Station was earlier reluctant to register FIR against Kiruthika Prabhakaran and others but after Court intervenes into the issue, Police forced to register FIR against the mighty Prabhakaran.

    Earlier, Kiruthika Prabhakaran had hit headlines for purchasing 228-decimal land patch from one Hrushikesh Das for Rs 6.45 crore, which land originally belongs of Endoument Department and of Lord Lingaraj. The deed of sale was made on November 5, 2021 at Bhubaneswar and still running with controversy.

    Months back, , the Bhubaneswar Tahasildar had written to Executive Officer of Lord Lingaraj Temple to seek ordered to impose section of 144 of CrPC at an illegal construction allegedly carried out by mining contractor B  Prabhakaran under Airfield Police limits of State Capital.

    The Bhubaneswar Tahasildar in  a letter dated 28-01-22 to Executive Officer of Lord Lingaraj Temple mentioned about prohibition of unauthorised construction over deity’s land in Bhimpur Mouza nearby Biju Patnaik International Airport pertaining to Khata no-1935 plot -67 area , AC-1.150 decimals.
