BHUBANESWAR: Thanthi TV a 24-hour Tamil news satellite television channel based in Chennai which is owned by Dina Thanthi and runs under Metronation Chennai Television Pvt Ltd, has portrayed Odisha’s ‘5T and Nabin Odisha’ Chairman , VK Pandian as State’s Deputy Chief Minister and next to CM Naveen Patnaik. The TV Channel also described VK Pandian as Naveen Patnaik’s Political Successor.
The Channel carried a news item saying “Sudden VRS, Deputy Chief Minister Post.. Naveen Patnaik’s Political Successor? Who is this VK Pandian? . In Tamil , it runs as “திடீர் VRS, துணை முதல்வர் போஸ்ட்..!நவீன் பட்நாயக்கின் அரசியல் வாரிசு? யார் இந்த வி.கே.பாண்டியன்..?’
The TV channel how and where got the information about VK Pandian’s posting as Deputy CM in Odisha, is yet to known.
If one has to take look at CMO website and its Officers, VK Pandian pinned his name in the 1st place followed R Balakrishnan( Chief Advisor) CMO, R Vineel Krishna as Special Secretary and DS Kutty as Special Secretary. Besides, that, Roopa Roshan Sahoo, Manoj Kumar Mishra , PK Mohapatra and Dr Gopabandhu Dash are also in CMO.
Ironically VK Pandian has bestowed himself with Cabinet Rank but still made his name feature on CMO officers website. He’s no longer an officer but reluctant to leave CMO. It looks like Power hungry mafia.
