‘T’ Shaped Longest Bridge on Mahanadi River to Benefit 5 Lakhs People, Says CM

    BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday inaugurated Odisha’s longest bridge over Mahanadi connecting Badamba Narasinghpur to Baideshwar of Banki. The bridge will benefit over 5 lakh people as well as contribute to the development of tourism, agriculture and commerce in the region.

    The ‘T’ shaped bridge spans 3.4 kilometre long and has been constructed at a cost of Rs 111 Crore. The bridge will shorten the distance between Badamba and Banki Baideswhar by 45km and connect Shinghanath Temple.

    Among others Works Minister Prafulla Mallick, Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayini, Cuttack Rural SP B Jugal Kishore, 5T Secretary VK Pandian, Badamba MLA Debi Prasad Mishra, Banki MLA Debi Ranjan Tripathy and former MLA Pravat Tripathy were present.
