BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha Television Pvt Ltd(OTV) hosted 10th annual convention , ‘Foresight 2020 – Changing Times Changing Minds’ was on Saturday kicked off will continue throughout the day.The event began with ‘Vaishnava Jana’ song to pay tributes to Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi as part of his 150th birth anniversary celebrations.
General Secretary of CPI(M), Sitaram Yechury and Rajya Sabha MP and veteran BJP leader Subramanian Swamy will grace the inaugural session of the event with a discussion on “Slowdown and Beyond: Ideas for a sustainable and equitable recovery of the Indian Economy”.
In the next session, a lot of key local issues will take centre stage with noted personalities and key speakers from Odisha debating on “Objective of Schemes: Development or Vote bank.”
State Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Lekhashree Samantsinghar, Odisha Convenor of Aam Admi Party Nishikant Mohapatra and Secretary of All India Congress Committee, Odisha, Biswaranjan Mohanty will share ideas and deliberate on the topic.
The third session lined up at the annual convention is “Slowdown and Beyond: Ideas for a sustainable and equitable recovery of the Indian Economy” which will be addressed by National spokesperson of Indian National Congress, Sanjay Jha.
The last session will witness actor Ali Fazal speak his mind out on “Digital Era and changing face of Bollywood cinema.” All India Mahila Congress chief Sushmita Dev and DMK MP Kanimozhi from Thoothukudi constituency M K Kanimozhi will also be a part of the event.
