RANCHI/BHUBANESWAR: NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters/NTPC Mining Limited, Ranchi is observing Swachhta Pakhwada-2024 from May 16 to May 31,2023 with a focus to involve the community in spreading awareness on sanitation and cleanliness.
With commencement of Swachhta Pakhwada today, Swachhta Pledge was administered by Shri Rajnish Rastogi, Chief General Manager (HR) in the august presence of Heads of the Department, Senior Officials, and employees.
The pledge emphasized on voluntarily devoting 100 hours’ time in a year and at least 2 hours in a week by everyone for promoting cleanliness and encouraging others to get involved in Swachhta mission for making the country clean.
Later employees and associates participated in the selfie zone with Theme “I am Swachhta Ambassador “reiterating their individual commitment to spread awareness and evoke sensitivity towards cleanliness and help in successfully achieving the initiative of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
Various programmes like cleanliness drive at public places, thematic paintings competition for school children, workshop on waste management, Street play/Nukad Natak will be organised during the fortnightly celebration on cleanliness.
