BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Government has appointed 1998 batch IAS officer Suresh Kumar Vashishth as new Special Secretary in Agriculture Department following his return to Odisha after completion of his Central deputation in New Delhi.
Vashishth during his Central deputation had served to then Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram as his Private Secretary. He also served in Food and Public Distribution Department under the Union Government. Earlier, he also served as RDC (Central) in Cuttack. He completed his Central deputation in second week of December last year and back to Odisha.
2008 batch IAS officer Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar has been shifted from Health and Family Welfare Department and posted as Director, Drinking Water and Sanitation.
