BHUBANESWAR: With Winter Session of Odisha State Assembly is beginning from November 13, the Naveen Patnaik Government on Friday approved a supplementary budget of Rs 8300 crore.
The supplementary budget will be presented during the upcoming winter session of the state Assembly beginning November 13. The upcoming assembly session will conclude on December 19.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers headed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the budget.
On the inaugural day of the winter session, the presentation of the first supplementary statement of expenditure for the year 2019-20 will be done. Besides, the Appropriation Bill on the first supplementary statement of expenditure for the said year is likely to be presented on November 25.
