BHUBANESWAR: On Friday, on the allegation of accumulation of disproportionate assets by Sri Biswajit Mohapatra, Additional District Magistrate, Sundargarh, simultaneous searches by Odisha Vigilance are going on at 7 locations in Khordha, Sundargarh & Jagatsinghpur district.
8 DSPs, 2 Inspectors, 5 ASIs and other staff are conducting the searches on the strength of search warrant issued by Hon’ble Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
Following assets unearthed so far in ongoing searches on properties of Shri Biswajit Mohapatra, OAS, ADM SNG:
1. Rs 3 lakh cash.
2. Approx 2.42 Crore deposited in savings and FD accounts in multiple banks and mutual funds etc.
3. 10 plots in BBSR and Jagatsinghpur.
4. 1 double storeyed house at Naharkanta, BBSR
5. 1 flat in Ashiana Apt, BBSR.
6. 350 gm gold.
7. One Cement godown with Cement stocks.
