The certification program was organised in the hospital campus supported by leading medical technology company Becton, Dickinson and Co (BD). SUMUM is the first hospital in Odisha to receive the certification on the successful completion of the program and achieve 98.4 per cent compliance rate.

The certification program was followed by an academic session on the topics of ‘Invasive Fungal Infection in ICU’ and ‘Infection Control Care Bundle’, which were addressed by Dr. Anand Mishra and Dr. Arun Rath, both Senior Consultants in Critical Care Medicine.
