BHUBANESWAR: On Tuesday, Subhrajeet Sahoo, Ex-Amin, Sadar Tahasil, Dhenkanal, A/p-Amin, Gondia Tahasil, Dhenkanal, who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in a case vide Cuttack Vigilance PS case No.1 dt.03.01.2019 U/s 7 PC (Amendment) Act,2018 for demanding and taking bribe from a complainant in order to submit demarcation report of his plots, was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Dhenkanal and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 3 years and fine of Rs.50,000/-.
Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for dismissal of Sri Subhrajeet Sahoo, Ex-Amin, Sadar Tahasil, Dhenkanal, A/p-Amin, Gondia Tahasil, Dhenkanal from service following his conviction. Detailed report follows.
