BHUBANESWAR:The state-level launch of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan was held today at the State Office on the occasion of the 110th birth anniversary of the great nationalist, public figure, founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and great philosopher Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.
On this occasion, State President Shri Samal said that the main goal of Ekatma Manabhad is to prove its greatness by expressing the Swadeshi ideology and Indian culture-based nationalism in a concrete and factual sense. A self-reliant India will be built through the participation of the poor, farmers, women and youth.
The Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan is a comprehensive expansion of the ideas of the late Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, whose aim is to make India socially and economically self-reliant. This campaign will start today and will continue for 90 days till the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on 25th December.
This campaign is not just a policy initiative, but also to build a successful nation through public participation. Its main objective is to connect every Indian, inspire every citizen and take the message of self-reliance to every home. To take this campaign to every home with a sense of Swadeshi, various programs are being organized such as ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Samaroh and Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Rath Yatra’. Its main objective is to strengthen the economic and cultural strength of the country by taking the message of ‘Vocal for Local’ to every Indian, said Shri Samal.
The BJP has taken several steps to make the ‘Self-reliant India’ campaign a success. “Every house is Swadeshi, every house is Swadeshi” will be given priority. On the call of the eminent Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the message of ‘Buy Swadeshi, Sell Swadeshi’ will be reached to the state and the countrymen by going door to door. The demand for local products will be increased through Vocal for Local. Starting from public representatives, through women and youth conferences, activists will use social media to spread the message of this campaign.
On this occasion, from schools to colleges, from state, district, village level, painting, folk drama, SHG product competition, poetry competition, rangoli competition, morning ferry, wall writing, exhibition of traders at the state fair, small and medium-sized shops and local artisans’ conferences, hoardings will be put up and widespread publicity will be given. State President Shri Samal has called upon the people of the state to join this campaign from all sections of society.
The campaign’s state coordinator and state general secretary Sharda Prasad Satpati and state media coordinator Sujit Kumar Das were prominently present at the press conference.
The program was held at the state office to launch the campaign. State Cooperative Minister Shri Pradeep Balasamant, State General Secretary Sharda Prasad Satapathy, Bhubaneswar District President Niranjan Mishra, senior leader Purna Chandra Mallick, eminent architect Adait Gadnayak, former Vice Chancellor of Central University Chakradhar Tripathi were prominently present and released a book based on the biography of Pandit Deendayalji. State President Shri Samal and other leaders took the initiative to ‘Buy Swadeshi and Sell Swadeshi’ on this occasion.
