BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday is leaving for Mumbai to attend the Odisha Investors’ Meet being organised by the Government of Odisha in collaboration with FICCI on September 14 at Trident Hotel at Nariman Point.
Chief Minister Patnaik is expected to meet top industrialists including Aditya Birla Group’s Kumar Mangalam Birla, Vedanta Resources Limited’s Anil Agarwal and Mahindra Group’s Anand Mahindra and few other top industry captains. Patnaik is scheduled to visit the Bombay Stock Exchange at Dalal Street and attend the ceremony to ring opening bell between 9 am and 9.30 am on September 15.
State’s Industry, Energy and MSME Minister Pratap Keshari Deb, Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra, 5T Secretary VK Pandian and Industry Secretary Hemant Sharma, besides senior officials of FICCI, are expected to join the meet and hold talks with investors and industry captains.
This was 3rd such event in the run up to the Global Investors Meet – “Make In Odisha 2022” slated from November 30- December 04, 2022, in State Capital city of Bhubaneswar. Already 2 meets have been conducted, one at Dubai and another at Delhi recently.
The Government of Odisha is attracting FDI in sectors such as Metals and Metal downstream, Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Textiles and Apparel including Technical Textiles, Food processing including Seafood processing, ESDM, Logistics and Clean Energy.The Chief Minister Patnaik will return to Odisha on September 15.
