BHUBANESWAR: As many as 11 spurious drugs based on the concerned manufacturers’ reply, were seized after effective drug recall, from the custody of MH pharmaceuticals, Nayasarak under Purighat Police station.
Total drugs worth Rs. 23, 22, 948 have been seized. These drugs were quarantined earlier and sales were stopped on suspicion which were procured from outside the State.
Odisha drugs enforcement team is in touch with other state governments, including U.P. to establish chain of supply and complete other formalities.
Screening of the market is being continuously undertaken by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Odisha. Stop sale orders are being issued wherever any suspicious activity is found.
