NAYAGARH:Fisheries and animal husbandry are the best way to prosper rural areas. Attending the inauguration day of the district-level fisheries and animal husbandry fair organized at the Nayagarh Stadium grounds as the chief guest, Speaker Mrs. Surma Padhi said that Nayagarh district is a developed district in terms of fisheries and animal husbandry. She called for making Nayagarh district the number one district in the state by taking advantage of the schemes being implemented by the government. She was of the opinion that adding value to fish and milk can help increase the income of farmers.
Nayagarh Municipal Chairperson Smt. Nirupama Khatei and Additional District Collector Smt. Rojina Das were the guests of honour at this fish and livestock fair. The welcome address was given by District Chief Psychiatrist Dr. Basant Kumar Behera and the vote of thanks was given by District Fisheries Officer Shri Prakash Kumar Tripathi.
