BHUBANESWAR: The Southwest Monsoon is likely to hit the Odisha coast in the next 48 hours, informed the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar.
As per reports, the monsoon would hit the state by June 17. There was a delay in the arrival of the monsoon. Balasore received 54 mm, followed by Keonjhar (21.6mm), Daringibadi (20mm), Paralakhemundi (18.6mm), Angul (18 mm), Jajpur (14mm), Nayagarh (13.2mm), Nuapada (8mm) last night.
