BHUBANESWAR: Further updates on searches against Smt. Jayanti Behera, Ex-District Social Welfare Officer, Bhadrak, A/p posted at W&CD Department, Govt. of Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
3 multi storeyed buildings in Balasore, 2 Flats in Bhubaneswar, 4 plots, Postal & Insurance deposits over Rs.53 Lakhs, Cash Rs.2.79 Lakhs, 1 four wheeler, along with other assets unearthed so far.
During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Smt. Behera and her family members;
1) One triple storeyed building over plinth area 1700 Sqft. at Ganeswarpur, Balasore.
2) Another triple storeyed building over plinth area 1400 Sqft. at Firingipatna, Balasore.
3) One double storeyed building over plinth area 1000 Sqft. at Ganeswarpur, Balasore.
4) One 3-BHK Flat at Royal Residency, Goutam Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
5) Another 3-BHK Flat at Old Town, Bhubaneswar.
6) 4 plots in prime area of Balasore. Details are under;
i) A piece of land vide plot No.150, Khata No.63 of area Ac 0.18 decimal at mouza Dasi, Balasore.
ii) A piece of land vide plot No.546, Khata No.186 of area Ac 0.11373 decimal at mouza Jhagadapadhi, Balasore.
iii) A piece of land vide plot No.551, Khata No.238 of area Ac 0.09621 decimal at mouza Jhagadapadhi, Balasore.
iv) A piece of land vide plot No.103, Khata No.06/03 of area Ac 0.09621 decimal at mouza Badadeula, Balasore.
The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above building/flats/plots is being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing.
4) Cash *Rs.2.79* Lakhs.
5) Postal & Insurance deposits over *Rs.53* Lakhs.
5) 1 four wheeler (Maruti Baleno-Altura) & 1 two wheeler (Suzuki GLX).
6) Bank and other deposits are under verification.

On Thursday morning, on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Jayanti Behera, Ex-District Social Welfare Officer, Bhadrak, at present posted at Women & Child Development Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 1 Addl. SP, 4 DSPs, 8 Inspectors and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Balasore at the following 11 places in Bhubaneswar, Balasore and Bhadrak.
(1) Residential triple storeyed building of Smt. Jayanti Behera, located at Firingpatana, PS- Sahadevkhunta, Dist- Balasore.
(2) Triple storeyed building located at Ganeswarpur, (Sidheswar Colony), Januganj, PS-Industrial, Dist.-Balasore.
(3) Half constructed double storeyed building at Ganeswarpur, (Sidheswar Colony), Januganj, PS-Industrial, Dist.-Balasore.
(4) Flat No.C/44 (3-BHK) in Royal Residency at Goutam Nagar, Bhubaneswar (Kalpana Square, Bhubaneswar).
(5) Flat No.B-209 (3-BHK), at Stalwart Apartment, Old Town, Bhubaneswar.
(6) Office chamber of Smt. Jayanti Behera at W & CD Department, Bhubaneswar.
(7) Residential rented house of Smt. Jayanti Behera, Ex-DSWO, Bhadrak located at Bhadrak.
(8) Office chamber at the office of DSWO, Bhadrak (relieved 04.06.2023 but charge not handed over ).
(9) Office chamber of Sri Rohit Kumar Mandal, Call Centre Executive (CCE) in the office of P.D., DRDA, Balasore. (Son of Smt.Jayanti Behera)
(10) House of her relative located at Sunhat, Balasore.
(11) House of her Associate (Contractor and supplier of RTE Chhatua) located at Chidiapola, Balasore Town.
