BHUBANESWAR:Students need to pay more attention to academic responsibility and discipline, which will enhance the prestige of the university, said Mrs. Shashwati Das, Vice President of Education and Research (SOR).

Attending the first annual festival ‘Enigma 2025’ of SOA-run Institute of Medical Sciences and Some Hospitals Campus-2, Phulnkhara as the chief guest, Shrimati Das said that ragging is a serious crime. Such criminal activities should never be tolerated.
Our educational institution never supports such criminal activities, said Shrimati Das.
Expressing hope that the educational journey of new medical colleges like IMS & Sum Hospital Campus-2 will be strengthened, the SOA Vice President congratulated the students, hospital deans, medical superintendents, and faculty members on the occasion.
At the inauguration of the two-day annual festival, the Dean of the hospital, Professor (Dr.), delivered the unsolicited welcome speech and informed that the event was organized for the students of batches 2024 and 2025.
On this occasion, SOA Vice Chancellor Professor Pradeep Kumar Nanda was the guest of honor and highly praised the skills of SOA students and expressed his opinion that the university is a place where special attention is paid to the overall development of students.
Professor Gangadhar Sahu, former Dean of IMS & Sam Hospital-1, participated in the program as the keynote speaker and emphasized on discipline among the students.
Professor Jyoti Ranjan Das, Dean of Student Welfare, SOA, was one of the honored guests at the event and encouraged the students in his speech.
On this occasion, the Vice President of SOA awarded various students of the medical college.Various cultural programs have also been organized for this two-day festival.
