PURI/BHUBANESWAR: Dr Krishan Kumar, Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration has decided to setup a First Aid Centre in an air-conditioned Intermodal container, near Shree Jagannath Temple; to attend to medical exigencies of visitors/devotees, sevaks & Temple officials. For emergency cases, provisions will be made to shift the patients to an advanced medical facility / hospital.
Centre will be manned by suitable & adequate medical staff & stocked with sufficient medical supplies with the help of District Headquarter Hospital. For smooth operations of the First-Aid Centre, one nodal officer will be appointed each by CDMO & the temple office.
The First Aid Centre will be inaugurated on 14th April, on the auspicious day of Mahabishuva Sankranti.
