SJTA Chief Dr Krishan Kumar Holds Talks with Servitors Nijogs

BHUBANESWAR/PURI: In a bid to keep the 12th century old Lord Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s pilgrimage city of Puri out of reach to second wave of COVID-19, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration Chief Administrator Dr Krishan Kumar on Saturday held an urgent meeting through video conference with various Servitors Nijogs as well as District and Police Administrations. Besides, Puri Collector Samartha Verma and SP K Vishal Singh, representatives from various Servitors Nijogs also attended the meet.

“Today an urgent meeting was chaired by Dr @Krishan_Kumar09,Chief Administrator,SJTA keeping in mind the upward trend of 2nd wave of #COVID19. Senior Sevayats of various Nijogs, @samarth_verma Collector,Puri, Dr Kanwar Vishal Singh @SPPuri1 and temple officials attended the meeting,” Shree Jagannatha Temple Office, Puri tweeted @SJTA_Puri.

It was decided in the meeting that strict vigil will be put in place and COVID care center made operational at Niladri Bhakt Niwas will be further strengthened as per requirement. Constant review of the same will be taken up.
