PURI/BHUBANESWAR: The Chief Administrator of the Shree Lord Jagannath  temple Dr Arbinda Padhee reviewed the monthly work today. In a meeting of the temple officials, the Chief Administrator reviewed the work of various departments and directed the officials to present the details of the last meeting of the temple management committee in the next committee meeting to be held on 17.1.2026. He also advised them to give more importance to the protection of the land of Shri Jagannath Mahaprabhu.

He reviewed the renovation work of the Srigundicha temple and also directed the concerned officials to complete the remaining construction work within the stipulated time. In addition, he directed to prepare a revised estimate for the current financial year and a budget estimate for the next financial year 2026-27.

The Chief Administrator emphasized on making it more proactive and proactive in view of the interest of devotees in donating to the temple. In addition, a calendar will be prepared for the next Odia New Year. The Chief Administrator has also suggested organizing a camp for eminent artists for this purpose.

Later, the Chief Administrator held detailed discussions with the Chief Forest Officers and Forest Department officials of Odisha through video conferencing on the supply of quality chariot wood for the upcoming Rath Yatra and thanked them for the steps they are taking in this regard.
