BHUBANESWAR: During his official visit to Delhi today, SJTA Chief Administrator Dr. Arabinda Padhi met and discussed with ASI Director General Dr. Yadavbir Singh Rawat.
In this meeting, various conservation works of the temple were discussed in detail. Dr. Padhee requested the ASI to immediately start the conservation work of the Bhog Mandap of the temple.
Similarly, he also requested to send a technology team to check the strength and stability of the iron beams installed on the outer side of Jagmohan almost a century ago.
The meeting also discussed the temple’s heritage illumination project, giant sealing of the exterior of the main temple structure, and other conservation works including chemical treatment.
The Chief Administrator expressed gratitude for the efforts and cooperation of ASI in ensuring the structural safety of the temple’s jewels in the conservation and restoration work.
