NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Sitaram Yechury has been re-elected as General Secretary of the CPI(M) in the 23rd CPI(M) Party Congress held at Kannur .
17-member Polit Bureau has been elected by the CPI(M) Central Committee with 3 new entrants. A new Central Committee of 85 members has been unanimously elected in the CPIM 23rdParty Congress with 17 new entrants and 15 women comrades. 1 seat has been left vacant.
