BHUBANESWAR:The foundation stone laying ceremony of the Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Center and the grand temple of Lord Shri Jagannath in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand was completed under the patronage of Hon’ble President Smt. Draupadi Murmu.
Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan joined the program organized by the Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Charitable Center Trust and prayed to the Lord for the welfare of everyone. He said on the occasion that with the blessings of the Lord, a new chapter is going to be added in the culture and spiritual consciousness of Shri Jagannath. This magnificent temple of the Lord in Jamshedpur will not only be a spiritual center, but it will also give a new look to the cultural identity of Jharkhand.
Shri Pradhan further said, Lord Shri Jagannath is the Lord of the universe and his worship gives us the eternal message of compassion and welfare of the people. This festival organized in the presence of the President has added a new chapter in the Jagannath culture. Shri Pradhan extended his warm greetings to all the people of Jharkhand and the Jagannath sect and expressed the hope that with the blessings of Lord Mahaprabhu, equality and brotherhood will increase in the society.
The event was attended by the Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand, Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister, Shri Hemant Soren, along with other dignitaries.
