BHUBANESWAR: Shri Bajrang Power and Ispat Ltd emerged as the highest bidder at the Kedesala West iron ore and aluminous laterite block auction, offering a premium of 115%. The block, spread around 209 Ha, is located in Odisha’s Sundargarh district. The mine has deposits of average-grade Fe 40.75-58.06%.
Anil Agarwal led Vedanta Ltd has been declared the preferred bidder for the Karnapodikonda bauxite block mining lease in Odisha, covering 532.75 hectares at G2 exploration level. The acquisition supports the company’s backward integration strategy for aluminium business operations and enhances supply chain efficiency.
