BHUBANESWAR: She rarely appears in media and always busy with her work , never feel tired and keep working for the poorest of the poor and for the under privileged, always wears a sweet smile in her face , that tries to bring more and more smiles in many faces. We are talking about Shaifalika Panda, who is Trustee and Chief Executive Officer of Bansidhar and Ila Panda Foundation, the CSR arm of Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys (IMFA).
With her husband and Managing Director Subharakant Panda busy in IMFA Group’s business affairs, Shaifalika single handily managed the CSR wings of India’s leading Ferro alloys maker.
“I started delving into a broad spectrum of people from marginalised sections of our society—understanding their pain, their needs, their suffering and more importantly, how one could work towards alleviating and impacting at the very least, some households. That’s when I took the decision to switch into the social development space,” she had said in an Interview published in The Sunday Guardian.
With IMFA’s 6 decades long old legacy continues to bring smiles in tens of thousands faces, Shaifalika is missing no stone unturned to make the mission success and she continued her work on preventive health, livelihood, women’s empowerment issues in both social and developmental sectors. Due to sincere work of CEO Shaifalika, IMFA Group has successfully transformed more than 5 districts in Odisha through its CSR work. Her dream project ‘Unnati’ is a mega hit among rural women.
