BHUBANESWAR: In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of the article 316 of Constitution, read with regulation 3 of Odisha Public Service Commission(Condition of Service) Regulations , 1952, the Governor of Odisha, has been pleased to appoint Arun Sarangi, Special DG (Training ) and Director Biju Patnaik State Police Academy , as Chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission for a term of 6 years from the date he enters upon his office or until he attains the age of 62 years , whichever is earlier. General Administration and Public Grievances Department said in a notification on Thursday.
‘The condition of service of Sarangi , IPS as Chairman OPSC, shall be regulated in accordance with the provision of the Odisha Public Service Commission (Condition of Service) Regulations 1952 as amended from time to time,” it said.
