BHUBANESWAR: Deputy Superintendent of Excise, Khordha along with Sadar Range staffs and District Mobile Unit staffs conducted an excise raid in Barapada Village under Khordha Sadar Police Station and booked 1 (one) SR case with seizure of 540 lts of IDL and 3 persons namely
Kabuli Jayasingh (46 yrs), Biswajit Jayasingh (24 yrs), Puspanjali Jayasingh (40 yrs) of vill- Barapada, Daleisahi were arrested and forwarded to the hon’ble court of SDJM Khordha vide P.R. No. 02/2024-25.
On the same day another excise raids were conducted under Begunia PS. one accused namely Ananda Behera age-40 years S/o-Lt. Suratha Behera, At/Po-Narayanipada, Ps-Begunia, Dist-Khordha was arrested vide PR No 98/24-25 byI E Khordha Range and 28 ltr of ID liquor was seized and another accused person namely Purna Chandra Mallik, S/o- Sankar Mallik of vill- Badaberana PS- Begunia was arrested vide PR No 206/24-25 by OIC Begunia Excise Station and 30 ltr of ID liquor was seized. Later on the same day both the accused were forwarded before the Hon’ble Court of JMFC Begunia.
