BHUBANESWAR:  Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday launched the 2nd version of Odisha SDG Indicator Framework (OSIF 2.0) and urged every Department to make intelligent use of this framework to achieve 2030 Goals. Pronouncing commitment to the SDGs, CM Patnaik said, “Together we can; Together we will.”

CM Patnaik also said that the clarion call issued by the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a testament that the only way going forward is to develop sustainably- integrating the social, economic and environmental dimensions of development.

He  added that Odisha is a frontrunner in spearheading programmes that breathe Sustainable Development at its core. Citing that 5T principles amplify commitment to leave no one behind, CM said that it becomes highly imperative to monitor progress in precise, challenging ways.

CM Patnaik highlighted Odisha’s long adopted concept of sustainable development in all its programmes & schemes. Mentioning that Odisha continues to grow by leaps & bounds, CM said that State’s developmental model remains anchored in values of equity, inclusiveness and sustainability.

Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra, DC Pradeep Jena,  5T Secretary VK Pandian, Industry Secretary Hemant Sharma, IPR-RD Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh, Water Resources ACS, Anu Garg, Agriculture Secretary Arbinda Padhee and other Department Secretaries were among those present.
